Parang Models
Designed for the toughest environments, the Orford Parang can clear dense vegetation, chop wood, and handle complex bushcraft and survival tasks. Unlike a heavier machete, the Parang’s balance of weight vs striking force wields some serious power but limits arm exhaustion after extended use. A scandi grind close to the handle gives the Orford Parang enough finesse for light woodcarving and campfire tasks, tapering into a razor sharp convex grind for impact resistance. The Orford Parang has been tested by professionals in the toughest environments, from trailblazing in the Amazon rainforest to survival and endurance missions in the Namib Desert.
Elementary
Stripped back to the essentials and built to last a lifetime. The Elementary Parang comes with a Natural Canvas Micarta handle, O1 tool steel blade, completed by brass loveless bolts and thong tube, all in the locking fit of an OD green Kydex belt sheath.

Expedition
Designed to survive the extreme. The Expedition Parang is fitted with a weatherproof AEB-L stainless steel blade, OD Green and Black Micarta handle, complemented by orange liners, stainless steel fittings, and an OD Green Kydex belt sheath.

A history of the highest quality. The Heritage Parang benefits from an AEB-L stainless steel blade, ultra tough Desert Ironwood handle, finished with classic black liners and a unique Orford Waxed leather dropper sheath.
