We are very proud to present the new Ed Stafford Signature knife, co-developed between Ben, Lois and Ed in the Craft Lab from the ever popular and proven Woodlander design. This brings together Ben and Lois’s material expertise, design themes and artisan production techniques with Ed’s personal preferences from his years of real-world expedition experience to create a functional yet beautiful masterpiece. In a world where you can survive with a sharpened leaf-spring, this truly is the art of bespoke hand-crafted knife-making, and Ed realising his ultimate, no-compromises, knife.
Tough yet beautiful ironwood scales with Ed’s signature blue liners wrapped around a laser-engraved, stonewashed, AEB-L stainless full tang blade for ultimate resilience in all conditions while maintaining great sharpening properties and edge retention. This is complimented with both a ‘Coyote’ leather sheath featuring contrasting stitching in signature blue thread.
The special Ed Stafford Signature Woodlander classic is made from 3.5 mm thick AEB-L Stainless steel which has been given an acid stonewashed finish, for a more rustic and hard wearing blade finish, it has our logo etched on one side and then Ed's Signature on the other. It has a full tang construction for strength to allow the knife be used in extreme conditions. The 3.5 mm steel cuts really well due to the classic "scandi" grind and makes a perfect thickness for no flex but still allows for a great bushcraft and woodcraft blade too. The blade shape is great for all chores including finer work, but is still suitable for all manner of bushcraft tasks due to the 4" blade as it is a super versatile blade length. The back edge of the blade is squared for use with a ferro rod and for scraping bark for tinder etc. The AEB-L stainless steel is a great stainless steel, it is extremely tough, but is still easy to sharpen and holds a fantastic sharp edge. The handle is made from beautifully grained Desert Ironwood with signature Blue G10 liners, it has been oiled to bring out the colour and grain. It has been heavily shaped and contoured to feel great in the hand and give a positive grip even in wet or cold conditions. This handle has brass Loveless bolts and thong tube for a great looking knife. The combination of the stainless blade and Desert Ironwood handle is a great option. If you want a wet weather knife, a canoe bushcraft knife or to use it a lot for food preparation, then this is a great Woodlander for your next adventure.

It comes with a choice of sheath options, as standard it comes with a right handed leather belt sheath in Coyote brown with striking signature blue stitching.

You can also add the following sheath upgrades to custom build your Ed Stafford Signature Knife to be perfect for your next adventure. Or you can select the full package to have the 100% Ed Stafford Signature Knife that will have all the features to help you in any environment and bushcraft situation.

Add a firesteel holder and matching Desert Ironwood handled firesteel with same signature striking blue liner accents to your leather sheath.

Add a Scandi style dropper sheath which allows the sheath to hang lower on your belt line and makes it more comfortable if you are wearing it with a rucksack or sitting around camp.

Add a Coyote brown all-conditions Kydex sheath for those trips where extreme durability is a priority. The Kydex sheath will allow you to take your knife into extremely wet environments or wet weather and not have any issues.

Or select all three options for the full Signature package which includes the Scandi style dropper sheath in coyote brown leather with blue stitching, matching Desert Ironwood firesteel and holder on the leather sheath and the Coyote brown Kydex sheath for both sheath options for any environment around the globe.

This very special package comes in a handcrafted presentation box which is embossed with Ed's logo and the Ben and Lois Orford logo, to make it an even more unique and collectable package.
