The Puukko

The Puukko is our take on the traditional Finnish knife. Its distinctive shape - slender, pointed, with a symmetrical handle - is a knife for those with the skill to use it. Carried for hunting, fishing, carving, camp life and everyday tasks across the far north, its distinctive geometry is instantly recognisable. Its design favours skill and technique over built-in safety features. With no finger guard and the cutting edge close to the handle, it excels at close carving, chest-lever grips, fine control and powerful cuts. The symmetrical handle sits comfortably in forward or reversed grips for woodcraft and field work. The sheath is equally practical—stitched on both sides so the knife can be returned either way round, especially useful in cold conditions.
