These handcrafted canvas bucket bags have been traditional in coastal areas for many years used on boats as a collapsible container for scrubbing down the decks, we love them, they have a huge variety of uses out in the wilds or around the home or garden - carrying foraged foods, plants, mushrooms, kindling, logs, tools or water ! Also fantastic as an improvised washing up bowl/outdoor sink and for gathering foraged items on the trail - we use ours for bailing out the canoe.
These Bucket Bags have been designed in collaboration with Steve Henley, our much loved canvas craftsman, who has 25 years experience of working with canvas and what he doesn't know about canvas is not worth knowing :)
They are made from high quality double thickness 16oz brown canvas which enables them to hold waterand are double machine stitched for extra strength, they are incredibly durable. Stainless steel eyelets and synthetic Jute rope (used for its longevity whilst retaining its traditional look and feel) makes a really tough and tactile handle. They also have our leather Celtic knot badge stitched on to add that extra touch of quality.
These canvas tubs do not have the jute rope reinforcement along the rim so they do pack down slightly smaller.
Size approx. 26cm diameter (10 inches) x 26cm high (10 inches)
