Our style of axe cover is designed to fit the 4 most common of the Gransfors axe range, the Gransfors Small Forest Axe, the Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet, the Small Hatchet and the Outdoor Axe.
These covers not only keep the edge of your axe protected, but also allow you to use the poll of your axe for knocking in pegs etc in a safe manner. The typical cover with the strap closure tends to get damaged when used for this task so is often removed, this then makes the hammering action much more dangerous as the sharp cutting edge is exposed.
These cases are also a neater more compact sheath which makes it convenient to stow in your pocket when the axe is in use and is a good fit on the head itself. They are handmade with natural coloured stitching for durability and protection of the cutting edge as riveted axe covers can damage the edge as they wear through and the rivets become exposed.

Delivery policy
Please allow two weeks for delivery on all items unless otherwise specified on our website. Some items are kept in stock and we will endeavour to send the items as quickly as possible. Many items are made to order and will require longer to deliver. Please refer to the estimated delivery times on each product before ordering which may be different for each product.
We will endeavour to keep you informed of any delays and contact you to let you know when your item is being dispatched.
Your goods will be sent via DHL shipping which is normally a next day delivery service in the united kingdom excluding Saturday deliveries if shipped on a Friday.
International orders will also be shipped via DHL and is a super fast and trackable means of shipping.
You will be notified via DHL on email and text with delivery details and tracking, you have options to change delivery or even have it dropped off at a drop of point for you to collect as you wish.
Our products are the same price for international orders except if you are outside of the UK, then VAT will be deducted at the current rate.

Returns/returns policy
If your goods are damaged or faulty upon receipt you must notify us within seven days so we can arrange a repair or replacement.
You have the right to return faulty goods for a full refund, including postage, within a seven day period.
Notification of return of goods must be made by phone, letter or email within seven days of receipt of goods.
All goods must be returned in an unused condition, well packaged and sent using an insured trackable postage method with a copy of the relevant receipt. Return postage will not be refunded if the goods are not faulty.
If goods are damaged or seem to have been used we reserve the right to make a charge for the damage or repair.
Orders
If an order for handmade bushcraft or woodcraft knives is cancelled after the seven day period we would have to retain the deposit but we do not require the full amount unless you have been informed of the completion of your order.
The right to cancel orders does not apply to goods made to customers own specifications or measurements.
